Borg Marine Grade Range
The marine grade range of digital locks from Borg are specifically designed for conditions by the sea, suitable for boats, boat sheds, houses by the sea, jetty’s etc.
Borg guarantees that this lock will resist corrosion due the engineering and high quality manufacture, which includes marine grade stainless steel components that have been successfully tested in salt-water conditions.
These locks only come in one colour, marine grade polished chrome. The multi layer marine grade coating is designed to resist corrosion for a minimum of 2 years and even comes with a 2-year guarantee from the manufacturer.
The marine grade range of access control locks include an option to purchase a protective cover that fits over the front of the keypad designed to further protection the mechanism inside for extra longevity.
These locks are available in the following configurations a) marine grade keypad outside with cover, free handle inside, with latch b) marine grade keypad coupled with deadbolt c) marine grade keypad with key override and holdback feature and d) keypad both sides. There are other configurations available that we can recommend depending on what would best suit the situation at hand.
The outer keypad comes fitted with either a lever handle or a contoured knob.
The keypad also includes the same large buttons found on the 5000 series for easy operation.
The aluminium door series of code locks are designed to suit narrow backset doors commonly found in commercial buildings and on foyer doors. These locks include a short backset design available in a) Keypad and handle outside, free on the inside, with short latch b) Keypad and handle outside, plus holdback, free on the inside, with short latch c) Keypad and handle outside plus key override plus holdback free on the inside, with short latch d) keypad both sides with short latch
We recommend the holdback feature as it gives you the chance to set the lock to free mode during busy periods when staff and customers are use the door frequently.
